Life Steps is a private practice Mental Health Counseling Service. We are currently looking for Social Workers or Licensed Counselors (L.I.S.W /L.P.C.C) to provide individual, couples & family counseling to children, adolescents and adults dealing with issues affecting their mental health and well-being. We treat a wide range of disorders, such as Anxiety, Depression, and Adjustment Disorders; in addition, the ideal candidates have some interest in working with Eating Disorder clients, experience/training in Trauma-Informed Care or in adolescent/young adult emotional issues.
We help people move through the steps, experiences, and challenges of life – One Step at a Time. We are located in Mansfield Ohio but serve the surrounding areas and several counties. This position allows for flexibility in scheduling.
Qualifications/Responsibilities
- Must have a Masters degree and be independently licensed by the State of Ohio.
- Obtain and maintain individual liability insurance.
- Diagnose & treat mental health disorders within their scope of practice and work primarily with their preferred populations.
- Evaluates the client’s needs and develops individual treatment plans to help clients reach short and long-term goals.
- Monitor client’s progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain clinical records.
